Despite his advanced age of fifty-nine, Steve Harvey is still able to relate to a three-year-old.
In a preview clip from Little Big Shots that is only available to PEOPLE, three-year-old James Tufts, the mayor of Dorset, Minnesota, tells Harvey, “Your pants are black and my pants are black.”
In the interview, which will appear on Sunday’s episode of the popular NBC children’s talent show, Harvey notes, “We’ve both got on black shoes.” The analogies don’t end there.
However, the interview wasn’t just observations and gentle inquiries. “How old is your brother?” was the question Harvey used to stump the youthful mayor.
Fortunately, Robert, Tuft’s brother, was present and was able to provide the answer by raising six fingers.
