Yellowstone Prequel ‘1923’ Gets Massive Update Ahead Of Return
Paramount+ has set a February premiere date for Season 2 of Taylor Sheridan‘s Yellowstone prequel series 1923, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford.
The second season will launch Sunday Feb. 23 with new episodes dropping weekly. The streamer also released some of the first footage of Season 2 in two new teasers and several photos. See below.
In Season 2, a cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob (Ford) and Cara (Mirren) back at Dutton ranch. With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love.
Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, Sebastian Roché, Timothy Dalton and Jennifer Carpenter also star.
As previously announced, Paramount Network will host a special linear airing of 1923’s first season beginning Sunday, Dec. 8, immediately following a new episode of Yellowstone.
